The role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our web apps. You will collaborate with designers and fellow developers, working closely with stakeholders across departments to ensure seamless and user-friendly experiences.

You will be the go-to person for the team, offering guidance, support, and sparring whenever needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications with a focus on accessibility and user experience
  • Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to build seamless solutions
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to strategic decisions regarding frontend technologies
  • Continuously optimize the performance and usability of the applications
  • Stay current with the latest frontend trends, tools, and best practices

Important skills

  • Experienced in React and/or equivalent JavaScript frameworks
  • Proficient in TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of creating responsive, mobile-first web apps
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and how to implement them in web apps
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with Next.js (pages and app-router)
  • Familiar with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Mocha
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS
  • Cross-platform mobile app development (React Native, Flutter)
