Media Specialist - Paid Digital Media

Media Specialist - Paid Digital Media -  be the driving force behind Cheffelo's digital growth

Do you want to help shape the digital experience for some of the Nordics' most well-known meal kit brands? At Cheffelo, you get the opportunity to work with strong, established brands and create campaigns that inspire, engage, and build lasting customer loyalty.

🎯 Your role at Cheffelo

In this role, you will work closely with our Head of Media, Channel Lead and other Media Specialists to execute impactful campaigns for Cheffelo's brands Linas, Retnemt, Godtlevert and Cheffelo in the Nordics. You will be our subject-matter expert across video, display, native and affiliate. Your responsibilities cover ongoing campaign management – from planning and activation to optimisation, analysis and reporting. You will also take part in joint projects with our wider Growth team, ie on how to capitalise further on our first-party audience activation and AI-assisted programmatic intelligence, to realise our growth ambitions.

🔑 Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement our strategy across video, display, native and affiliate together with our Head of Media and Channel Lead.

  • Ensure optimal planning, buying, optimisation and reporting of digital media activities across the full customer journey, in close partnership with our wider Growth and Customer team as well as our agency- and media partners.

  • Analyse and evaluate campaign results against marketing and communications objectives as well as full-funnel media metrics.

  • Ensure operational excellence by implementing and maintaining our media management processes and routines.

  • Support and collaborate with our Brand team to ensure our creatives are tailored to each media touchpoint for optimal impact.

  • Manage campaigns using DSPs and self-service tools for buying, optimisation and reporting.

  • Explore and identify new innovations and opportunities in media that can strengthen our mental and digital availability towards both current and future customers.

  • Work with our Analytics & Optimization team to improve our digital media investments through A/B testing, geo-lift studies, incrementality testing and marketing mix modelling.

🧠 Who are you?

  • A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in digital and performance media management – from agency, media owner or brand side.

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, communications or media.

  • Experience with renowned DSPs such as DV360, Adform and/or The Trade Desk, as well as other digital buying platforms such as Google Ads or Smartly.

  • Experience with or knowledge of Ad Ops/trafficking, ie through Campaign Manager or Adform.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and functions.

  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written – in English and a Scandinavian language.

  • Detail-oriented, taking accountability and ownership.

  • Curious, ambitious and eager to keep developing.

  • Experience from subscription-based businesses in the Nordics is an advantage.

💡 What you get from us

At Cheffelo, you become an important part of an innovative, forward-thinking and inclusive company, named “Online Player of the Year” at Dagligvarugalan 2025. You will join a flat organisation with a high level of trust, short decision lines and strong opportunities for both professional and personal development. You will work closely with skilled colleagues across Growth, Brand and Analytics – and see the direct impact of your work in traffic, conversions and growth.

🌱 Why join the Cheffelo journey?

Cheffelo is the Nordics' leading and most profitable meal kit provider, helping people eat well – without the stress of planning and shopping. Since 2008, we have made it easier to enjoy varied, nutritious, home-cooked meals through tailored meal kits with minimal food waste. With nearly 400 engaged employees, we manage our own production facilities, develop smart technology and deliver unique customer experiences under the brands Linas in Sweden, Godtlevert in Norway, Retnemt in Denmark and soon Cheffelo in Finland. In 2025, Cheffelo delivered around 17 million meals and generated SEK 1.2 billion in revenue, and the company is listed on Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market (CHEF).

Data Engineer

We've just rebuilt our data platform from the ground up. It's fast, it's scalable, and it's what the next generation of personalisation and experimentation across our product will run on. We're looking for a Data Engineer to build on it and help shape where it goes next.

Every week, what you build reaches tens of thousands of households across Norway, Sweden and Denmark, with Finland joining this autumn. Dinner turns up at their doorstep, people cook, and a good chunk of that depends on data being right.

The role

You'll join the 6-person Data Platform Team, which builds and owns our central data model, tooling and infrastructure. You'll also work closely with the wider 10-person data discipline. Between us we serve the rest of the company with the data it needs to make better decisions, and we power the internal and customer-facing products that run on top of it.

You will:

  • Model clean, trustworthy dimensional data for analysts, data scientists and stakeholders across the business.
  • Build production-grade pipelines in Python that feed the models, dashboards and decisions the rest of the business relies on.
  • Build and maintain the shared tools and frameworks that make everyone else in the discipline faster.
  • Raise the bar through code reviews and knowledge shares, and let other people raise yours.

Our stack

  • Databricks for storage, ingestion, orchestration and workflows
  • dbt for transformation and modelling
  • Terraform for infrastructure as code
  • GitHub for version control and CI/CD
  • Azure for our cloud environment
  • Power BI for reporting and self-serve analytics
  • Mixpanel for product analytics
  • Claude for AI-assisted development across the team

You don't need to have used all of these. We'll help you get up to speed.

How we work

We run 7-week "Cook" periods where the team works towards a small number of meaningful objectives, followed by 2-week "Prep" periods for retros, demos, planning and learning. It keeps focus high during Cook and means the thinking time is protected rather than squeezed in around the edges.

AI is embedded across the product and tech department and we back that up with a generous token budget.

The organisation is flat, the data community is supportive, and there's a high level of trust and flexibility in how you run your day.

What we're looking for

You might have worked as a data engineer, analytics engineer, or data analyst. The title matters less to us than the skillset and the mindset.

  • Around 2 to 5 years working with data transformations and modelling.
  • Comfortable with Python and SQL, and you enjoy structuring data models that make sense to other people.
  • Collaborative by default. You share work early rather than building in isolation, you work well with people outside engineering, and you can give and take feedback.
  • Curious about AI-assisted development. If you've already worked with Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, great.
  • A product mindset. You care about the outcome for the user and the business, not only the pipeline.
  • Clear communicator in English.

Nice to have experience:

  • dbt, Databricks, Terraform or GitHub Actions.
  • Azure.
  • Power BI, or supporting self-serve analytics in other tools.

If you don't tick every box but the role appeals, apply anyway. We'd rather read your application than guess.

Who is Cheffelo?

Cheffelo is a profitable Scandinavian meal kit company. Since 2006 we've been making it easier for people to eat varied, home-cooked meals without the planning and shopping, and with a lot less food waste than the weekly supermarket shop tends to produce.

We have around 400 employees, run our own production facilities, and build our customer-facing app and internal tools ourselves. We operate under the brands Linas in Sweden, Godtlevert in Norway, and RetNemt in Denmark. In 2025 we turned over SEK 1.2 billion and delivered roughly 17 million meals. Data Analyst

We've just rebuilt our data platform from the ground up, and it's what the next generation of personalisation and experimentation across our product will run on. We're looking for a Data Analyst to put it to work: understanding how our customers actually behave, and sharpening every experiment we run.

Every week, the decisions you shape reach tens of thousands of households across Norway, Sweden and Denmark, with Finland joining this autumn. Dinner turns up at their doorstep, people cook, and a good chunk of that depends on data being right.

The role

You'll be embedded in the Customer Experience product team, which owns the logged-in customer experience, working day to day with the product manager, designers and engineers there. You'll also be part of the wider 10-person data discipline, which is where the craft, the shared standards and the support come from.

You will:

  • Design and analyse experiments across the logged-in customer experience.
  • Dig into customer behaviour in Mixpanel and our dbt-modelled warehouse, and explain the why behind the numbers rather than only the what.
  • Work closely with the Customer Experience team to turn your findings into decisions instead of slides.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and self-serve models so the team can answer its own questions between check-ins.
  • Raise the bar in the data discipline through code reviews and knowledge shares, and let other people raise yours.

Our stack

  • Mixpanel for product analytics and experiment results
  • dbt for data modelling and trusted metrics
  • Databricks as the underlying data platform
  • Power BI for reporting and self-serve dashboards
  • GitHub for version control of your models and queries
  • Claude for AI-assisted analysis and development across the team

You don't need to have used all of these. We'll help you get up to speed.

You might have worked as a data analyst, product analyst or analytics engineer. The title matters less to us than the skillset and the mindset.

  • Around 2 to 5 years working with data analysis, experimentation or product analytics.
  • Comfortable with SQL, and confident forming a clear view from messy data.
  • Experience designing or analysing A/B tests and turning the results into a recommendation someone can act on.
  • Collaborative by default. You share work early rather than building in isolation, you work well with people outside the data team, and you can give and take feedback.
  • Curious about AI-assisted analysis. If you've already worked with Claude, Codex or Cursor, great.
  • A product mindset. You're curious about customer behaviour and the why, not only the dashboard.
  • Clear communicator in English.

Nice to have experience:

  • dbt, Databricks or Mixpanel specifically.
  • Power BI, or building self-serve analytics in other tools.
  • Working embedded in a cross-functional product team.

If you don't tick every box but the role appeals, apply anyway. We'd rather read your application than guess.

Summer Internship 2027 - Data

Do you like food? Do you like working with data? Spend your summer working on real data problems at a Product & Tech company that helps tens of thousands of households answer the question "what's for dinner this week?".

What you'll actually do

You'll be part of the Product & Tech team from day one, and we mean part of it. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with our data engineers, data scientists, software engineers, designers and product people on projects that ship and get used by real customers. The things you build will matter, and you'll get to see them out in the wild.

You won't be doing it alone. We're taking on a group of 2 to 4 interns, and you'll each have a dedicated mentor whose job is to help you do good work and grow while you're here. Ask all the questions, break things safely, and learn loads along the way.

You'll also get to know people beyond your own desk. The tech community here is a friendly one, there are social events running through the summer, and our central Oslo location makes them easy to get to.

Choose your track

The programme covers three tracks:

  • Data Engineering. Building the pipelines, data models and tooling everything else runs on.
  • Data Science. Machine learning, optimisation, and experimenting with new features.
  • Data Analytics. Digging into the data to turn big questions into answers people actually use.

You'll have a home base in the same team whichever track you pick, so don't worry too much about being put in a box. The track is there to help us shape the project you work on.

Our stack

You don't need to know all of this in advance and you'll pick up plenty as you go, but here's what we work with day to day:

  • Python and SQL for most of what we do
  • Databricks and dbt for our data pipelines and models
  • Mixpanel for understanding how customers use the product
  • GitHub for code, reviews and shipping
  • Claude Code and Codex as part of our everyday workflow

Who you are

  • Partway through a Master's, currently in your 3rd or 4th year, in something related: informatics, computer science, mathematics, statistics or machine learning.
  • Comfortable writing Python and a bit of SQL. You don't need to be an expert. You need to be happy rolling your sleeves up and having a go.
  • Fluent in English, since that's how we work day to day.
  • Curious, good with people, and interested in how data actually works inside a product company.
  • Curious about modern AI tooling. We use Claude Code and Codex day to day and we like people who want to make the most of them.

If you don't tick every box but the programme appeals, apply anyway. We'd rather read your application than guess.

The practicalities

  • When: 21 June to 13 August 2027
  • Length: 7 working weeks plus 1 mandatory vacation week
  • Where: our central Oslo office
