Marketing Automation Specialist – turn customer data into communication that feels personal

Do you want to build customer journeys that make customers choose us, and come back? At Cheffelo, you get a clear area of ownership in our newly established 1:1 Growth team. You will work in depth with marketing automation, segmentation and A/B testing, while helping us explore how AI and Next Best Action can take our customer communication to the next level.

🎯 Your role at Cheffelo

As Marketing Automation Specialist, you are responsible for campaigns, customer journeys and A/B tests across all our brands in the Nordics. You report to our Head of 1:1 Growth and work closely with CRM, Growth & Optimization, Media, Brand, CX and Tech. This is a fixed-term position until the end of August 2028.

🔑 Your main responsibilities

  • Build, launch and optimise personalised acquisition and reactivation campaigns in Customer.io, across email, SMS, app and other direct channels
  • Develop segmentation and audiences based on customer behaviour, lifecycle, customer value and engagement
  • Own the A/B testing area: plan and run tests on messaging, offers, audiences, timing and journey logic
  • Analyse performance and turn insights into concrete improvements
  • Together with the team, explore and implement Next Best Action and AI for personalisation, content, channel and journey
  • Coordinate customer activities with Telemarketing and other teams, so the customer experiences one coherent whole
  • Share learnings and help develop our 1:1 work across brands and markets

🙋 Who are you?

  • You are curious about what makes customers act. You enjoy testing new ideas, challenging assumptions and letting the data decide
  • You have experience in CRM, marketing automation, lifecycle marketing or growth, and have worked hands-on in a platform such as Customer.io, Braze, Emarsys, Voyado, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe or similar
  • You are hypothesis-driven and know how to design and evaluate A/B tests with rigour, turning results into reliable insights and confident decisions
  • You bring structure, precision and care to everything you deliver, making sure every detail is thought through, from segmentation to CTA
  • You have a commercial mindset, communicate clearly and want to see your work reflected in the results
  • You are fluent in English and at least one of Swedish, Danish or Norwegian. More Nordic languages, or Finnish, are a plus
  • Nice to have: advanced testing such as statistical testing and incrementality, SQL, customer-level analysis, predictive models or Next Best Action, experience from e-commerce, DTC or subscription businesses, and HTML/CSS skills

💡 What we offer

You will join a flat organisation with high trust and short decision paths. You get real ownership of your work, see directly how it affects our customers and help shape how we work with customer data and personalisation going forward. We offer good opportunities for both professional and personal development. We work hybrid, with at least three days a week at our office in Sundbyberg.
