Christian is one of our chefs who works in our Danish office. He develops and tests some of the dishes that our customers can find on our website every week. Christian has extensive experience in the culinary world. With a father from Italy and a mother from Denmark, food was always a big part of life. Christian has worked as a chef at various restaurants in and around Copenhagen and joined Cheffelo in 2021.
What is your favorite cuisine?
That is hard to pin. There are so many good ones. But it would have to be my grandmother’s Neapolitan cuisine, since it has many fond childhood memories associated with it.
In what ways does your job allow you to be creative?
It allows me to use my profession and cook for people in a different way.
How would you describe the company culture? What makes us unique?
I think that Cheffelo is always striving to be better, so there is a lot of openness to new ideas.
What is the best thing about working as a chef at Cheffelo?
The best thing about working as a chef at Cheffelo is that I get new challenges every day. Not two days are the same, and I have a lot of very good colleagues.
What advice would you give to someone who might be interested in your role in the future?
Go for it. It’s a fun, exciting and a challenging place to work.
What is the best thing about working in our company compared to ordinary restaurants?
Well, it doesn’t have the restaurant service buzz. It is more tranquil, which fits family life better.
Do you have any passions outside of work?
Cycling, food and travelling.
What attracted to Cheffelo in the first place?
I was very curious. It seemed like an interesting place to work, and an unknown world of data and cuisine mixed together in one melting pot.
